Boatyard Double Gin - Review

“From farm to bottle", how beautiful does this already sound? Today I am bringing you with a lot of enthusiamsm this beautiful gin from Ireland. This gin was officially released in September 2016. Founder Joe said that the gin makeup has been carefully fine-tuned to produce a smooth, flavourful and refreshing spirit wich reflects the unique landscape and botany of the lakelands of Fermanagh in Northern Ireland. An own grain distillate made by a double contact distillation process. Also known as a unique juniper filtration process what Dutch distillers call' Dubbel Gebeide Genever'. That is why they call this gin the Boatyard Double Gin. Infused and distilled with sweet gale foraged from the family in Fermanagh along with the familiar notes of juniper, lemon and 5 other botanicals. A distinctive taste profile, perfect to stand out against the others in the market. The boatyard double gin was the first product of the Boatyard Distillery. A beautiful distillery and a beautiful location. What makes them unique is that they were one of the first distilleries accessible to visitors. Every visitor can follow the entire process "From Farm to Bottle". I have to admit, such things show how beautiful it can be to distil spirits. Last but not least, I would like to mention the bottle of this gin. A beautiful design with small details on the bottle. The tractor you can see on the bottle refers to the beautiful concept of "From farm to bottle".

I wish I could tell you all about the taste of this beautiful gin! More about the Boatyard Double Gin tomorrow! Cheers, Gintasticbelgium
