Finally the time is right, we can announce our number 1. For two weeks we worked together with you to this special moment and now we can finally show it to everyone. Our number 1 gin is a gin that has been with us since day 1, a gin with a story, a gin with an incredible taste. Our favourite gin in of all time is surprise surprise surprise .... Elephant gin! More specifically, we are a fan of the Elephant Strength version that we received earlier this year, because of it's powerful 57%, but also his soft and accessible taste.
Despite being made on German grounds, this gin is full of African herbs and flavours. They use 14 different botanicals that you can find both in the regular Dry and in their Strength gin: Buchu, baobab, lion's tail, devil's claw, apple, ginger, lavender,.... Not only the taste of the gin is phenomenal, but so is the bottle design and the story behind this gin. Robin and Tessa are very passionate about elephants and they believe that we are responsible for supporting and helping these African animals. So, our number 1 is known, so it's almost time to start the new year. 2017 is the year in which we created our blog together with all of you. Never had we expected it to be such a success, but here we are today 11 months later with a collection of 200+ gins, almost 4700 followers on instagram, 45,000 likes on all our posts together. We have had fantastic collaborations with many brands and distributors, we bought amazing gin bottles, and we have met the fantastic people behind the gins. And last but not least we made new blogger-friends who eventually became our real friends. Thank you so much! We love you all!
