Number 4, we are slowly coming closer to our numer 1, our all time favorite!
Today we have an exclusive gin for you! If you are a gin lover, you just need to know the Filliers Distillery in Belgium. They made a fantastic range of different gins. Their most famous product will be the “Filliers Dry Gin 28”.
The recipe of this gin is made by Firmin Filliers (1888-1965) and they still use the same recipe nowadays! He used 28 botanicals to make this gin. You can find Belgian Hops, angelica root, allspice, fresh oranges and so much more! The exact proportions were recorded by Firmin F. in his authentic recipe, which has been passed down from father to son in the Filliers Distilling dynasty ever since.
But the gin on the picture, our number 4 is this Filliers Bourbon Barrel Aged Gin. Made with the Classic Filliers Dry Gin, but this one aged for 9 months and more in Bourbon Barrels!
Filliers Bourbon Barrel Aged gin is a smooth, light-golden gin with a complex aroma coming from vanilla, dried herbs and an oaked taste from the barrel. Floral hints and peach on the background! I love the smooth and creamy taste. A perfect balance between floral, sweet, spicy and citrus. We love it!
But what’s so exclusive? Well... there are 3600 bottles made of this gin. Very exclusive! We need a second bottle to make sure there’s enough Filliers Bourbon Aged gin for us!
Try it over ice, or mix this gin with a FT Indian Tonic and garnish with an orange slice.
Number 4 is perfection! Try it, before it’s too late!
Cheers,
