Hidden Curiosities Gin - Review

Today we bring you another new gin, this time a gin from the UK. A while ago we had a pleasant talk with Jenny. Jenny is the woman behind Cravat Club (British handcrafted luxury accessoires.) and from now on also behind the Hidden Curiosities Gin. She told us a lot about her gin and gave us the chance to try it. Despite this opportunity, I would like to promise that this review is my honest opinion about the product.

I would love to take you on board in this story of Jenny and her gin. A lot of tasting and trying. That is what's behind this gin. The idea behind the gin? Making a gin that she would love to death. And looking for the perfect botanicals to make a beautiful product is at least as important, and that’s what she did. The botanicals that she used created a gin with a delicious aroma with spiciness of peppers and cardamom. The Japanese Yuzu is also present in the gin, along with other citrus tones. All of this is supported by the other botanicals that you can find in the gin.

The gin was created in collaboration with a distillery located in the Surrey Hills. People with knowledge who could fulfil Jenny's expectations. Together with her recipe and the knowledge of the master distiller, they brought the Hidden Curiosities gin on the shelf.

She herself is extremely proud of the result. The Gin brings up delicious flavours and shows that the art of distilling is something very beautiful. In addition to the (5) peppers I mentioned above, she also made use of: Grains of paradise, pink grapefruit, Japanese Yuzu, green cardamom, mulberry, lime, violet, lavender and other botanicals! The complete recipe consists 20 delicious botanicals. Of course there are also juniper berries used, and this is clearly present in the gin. This makes this remarcable, complex gin even better for us!

Everything about the taste and our serve will be online tomorrow.

And there's another secret that we will reveil tomorrow.

Cheers,

Gintasticbelgium
